Gyff & Tsumomo #1

"I should have known that it was a trap. It is always a trap." His mind repeated at least three times while he was trying to escape that damn labyrinth. If he had a rope,  or a yarn, it would be easier to find the way out. But Gyff? Gyff would lose himself on purpose.

It was dark. He wasn't really able to see the following path, even though he casted a little fire orb, he just picked directions randomly. Sometimes passing by bones on the ground. People who were there but didn't had the same luck. He was running carrying a wooden flask. And he hoped he could drink one of the best wines in his lifetime after that. The steps of some creature were mixing with his ours, and it seemed like it was getting closer.

A hand came into his direction, and he quickly dodged to the right, spinning his body like he was ready to do that beforehand. The quick, unexpected and calculated movement resulted in a well applied cut at the upcoming minotaur's throat. The dagger Gyff was carrying is his right hand was quite simple, even though you could see the Letters "N.S." carved on the blade. The spinning made him able to throw his enemy's body over his shoulder after that fatal blow.

Allowing him to keep at his pace before the thing chasing him entered in reach.
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the world, specifically at a town named Amaquabá.  A lady dressed in a long white dress with sweet pink petals drawn over it drinking tea in a local cafeteria, but on a table outside the shop. She carefully poured the liquid in her cup, while looking to the few trees blooming around. She would look like a statue to make the place beautiful if she wasn't moving.

- Ms.  Tsumomo, would you like more tea?  - Someone said from the inside of the shop.
- It is not as necessary as you coming here appreciate the beauty of your own trees, Mr. Wing.

The day seemed to be starting. People opened their windows to enjoy the light of the day and the fresh air. The place quickly crowded and people seemed frustrated for not being able to get a table. Wing took the orders while Tsumomo attracted people's curious eyes. Several women complimented her since she was sitting next to the street.

A man with pointy ears,  well dressed in formal clothes, including a red cape sat by the same table she was without asking for permission, like she was already waiting for him. He looked at her with his blue eyes and asked away:

- So, in which house you will be tonight?
